Been a few busy weeks trying to organise myself and pay for everything. Have been able to pay upfront (and get the early bird discount) for my Contiental Introduction Globus tour.
Whilst I've organised my own flights (using my Qantas Frequent Flyer points - please Qantas, stay afloat and no more industrial action!), accommodation pre-Western Front tour, getting myself on the Western Front tour and also accommodation post Western Front tour - I've had to engage with a travel agent for organising the remainder of my time in Europe.
Melinda (my agent) has been great and very helpful. She has been able to organise for me a tour to Disneyland Paris, a Citroen 2CV tour of Paris and a show at the Moulin Rouge (with dinner and champagne!). Melinda has also organised my accommodation for 17 days in London; only concern that I have is that I have to stump up with another $5000+ by early December. Still though, I am going to Europe; everything else is paid up for (apart from $500 for my Western Front Tour, but that's easily done).
Excited! Everything is starting to come together :)
